Our Flux Beamo Laser Cutter demonstrates a powerful 30-watt CO2 laser, specifically made to cut and engrave on organic materials such as wood and rubber, and even engrave select metal, glass, and stone. The Laser Cutter has extremely precise cutting and engraving, making it ideal for designs of any level of detail in your projects. With its innovative design, you can take off the honeycomb platform to etch larger pieces and create extra levels of depth.

Safety

The Beamo is very safe and easy to install, allowing you to be just a few steps away from making amazing new things in your school’s classroom. This makes the set-up process simple and accessible, giving you the option of setting it up on the machine or using the mobile app, BeamCam, for an even easier creative process. The Flux Beamo’s safe design means it is entirely sealed, meaning fumes escape only from the extruder fan at the back, through the provided vent hose, and out of a window, open door, or designated vent. Another of its great safety features is that it automatically pauses if the lid is opened during a task to maximise the well-being of students who might be operating it. If an emergency occurs, you can shut down the machine immediately with a single switch.

Beamo Software

The Flux Beamo Laser Cutter uses file formats that we are all familiar with, such as JPG, PNG, SVG and DXF, additionally it also includes a handy tutorial. Beam Studio is compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux, and Chrome OS. You can connect your Flux Beamo Laser Cutter to your computer or laptop via Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or smartphone hotspot.

• Camera alignment

Use the built-in HD camera to preview the work area and the workpiece on your laptop or phone. Place your design exactly where you want, and get exactly what you expect.

• Internal water-cooling

The closed-loop water cooling system circulates water throughout the machine, keeping the components at the correct temperature at all times.

• High resolution laser

The Flux Beamo Laser Cutter uses a laser that is smaller than the width of a human hair and engraves with 0.05mm layer depth. The 1,000 DPI resolution will amaze you.

This Education Bundle contains both:

• The Flux Beamo Rotary Extension

The Rotary Engraver is an attachment for the Beamo as an add-on piece of hardware that can allow the laser cutter to engrave on round/cylindrical objects. This means the laser engraver is not limited to 2D surfaces and can work on items such as drinking glasses, pens, etc. Fits under your Beamo so you don't have to worry about creating extra space and simple installation with only one cable to plug in.

• Flux Material Experience Pack (Pack of 37 sheets)

A specially composed package of 37 different types of materials. A range from various Acrylic to Rubber and Wood. The materials are 210 x 300 mm big and 3mm thick (except for the stamp rubber, which is 2,3mm). Click Here to view all materials that are included with this bundle

• Flux Beam Air 2.0 Filter

The Optional Beam Air 2.0 Filter add-on will filter all the air that comes out of your Flux machine and can easily be installed on your Beamo. The Flux Beam Air 2.0 is a necessary spare part for Flux's laser cutter and engravers for prolonged use indoors.

12 Month Extended Warranty

Flux Laser Cutters come with a standard 12 month back to base parts and labour warranty. The Daemon3D Print Extended Warranty extends this warranty for an additional 12 months meaning that you have worry free operation for 24 months.

Repairs in the workshop are covered under warranty, parts and labour are free of additional charge subject to Terms & Conditions below. The Customer can choose to have the machine repaired in the workshop or for parts for repairs to be sent to them.

Operational Leases:

Via our partner, Utility Rentals, we only offer fully compliant operating leases, which are approved by the Department for Education (DfE), and meet with all advice as set out by the National Association of School Business Managers (NASBM), and the Financial Leasing Association (FLA).

And as our funding solution can be used for almost any equipment and associated services such as install and ongoing maintenance, leasing can be a great way for schools, colleges & Universities to prevent equipment from becoming redundant and ensure they provide an exceptional classroom experience to their students.
